This series consists of pastoral lease number cards for the Northern Territory with location stamped or written on them. The cards record district, address of holder, of mortgagee, block number, offered under gazette of, nature of transfer, applicant and transferees, date of transfer, Registered no. of transfer, application with date received, area applied for date dealt with, result, term of lease, document of lease, executed, registered, factors necessitating adjustment as granted, date takes effect, area, annual rent and remarks. The reverse of the card records rates of annual rental payable, in each year, to (date) amount, then have year, amount due, payment made with rent, penalty, receipt number and remarks Pastoral lease numbers are running numbers for both Southern and Northern parts of the Territory before number 300 they were recoreded as separate regions using their own numbering.
